Join us for an unforgettable celebration of freedom, unity, and togetherness at the Juneteenth Community Cookout! Boston Young Black Professionals and The Teachers’ Lounge are coming together to show up and show out to this momentous event, and we invite you to be a part of it.

We invite all community members to volunteer and bring their favorite dishes to share at the cookout. Whether it's your grandmother's secret recipe, a family tradition, or a special treat, let's savor the delicious flavors of our heritage. The potluck-style gathering will allow us to experience the diversity and tastes that make our community so vibrant.

In addition to the mouthwatering food, we'll have an array of exciting games and activities for all ages. Engage in friendly competition, enjoy music that resonates with the culture, and embrace the spirit of unity as we celebrate the progress we have made and the work still ahead of us.

This event is open to everyone who wishes to support and embrace our shared history. Boston Young Black Professionals and The Teachers’ Lounge encourage attendees to bring their friends, family, and neighbors to celebrate this important occasion. Due to forecasted rain, TTL and YBP will no longer be hosting a cookout at tomorrow’s Juneteenth Celebration. The Juneteenth Celebration, however, will still be taking place tomorrow, rain or shine, for those interested in stopping by.
