The agenda will be structured to provide a fun and interactive space to broaden your network through games and activities. You will also have the opportunity to get free professional headshots taken!
Established in 1984, the Work Force Youth Program is a comprehensive after-school educational enrichment and work-readiness program for low-income teens in Cambridge public housing. Holistic in design, the program provides participants with sustained networks of learning and support over a minimum eleven-year span: starting from the sixth grade through their completion of a post-secondary program and into a well-paying career. The program’s goal is to help participants acquire the wide range of skills necessary for long-term academic and career success. A system of personalized adult support and formal case management tracks alumni of the program to document their success through the Work Force program's College-2-Career initiative.
